It was a reply to about 30 people , but it bounced on number 1

I don't think it's a Turnpike problem as such.

I'm assuming that this refers to an email. How big was the email ?
I've seen similar when sending big attachments, some recipients systems
won't handle them.

replace "bulleid" with "adrian" - all mail to bulleid is rejected

126K . there was an 88K picture . Seems like some sort of spam trap. I
use the Namesco SMTP server.

The message came from

***@b-howie.co.uk at 09.39 on the 6th

It looks like I shut down Turnpike at 23.54 on the 5th before all 30
went out and it re-started at 08.37

As it says "sending limits", it sounds to me as if it was your ISP's
server for outbound mail that was objecting. Perhaps it doesn't like
more than a certain number of messages being sent in a single
connection, for fear that it's spam?

I did a quick web search on "451 You have exceeded sending limits",
which confirmed that theory:

"SMTP error 451 indicates when the user exceeds the limits set on the
email server for sending emails. The email server will not allow the
user to send more emails than the limits set on the email server; these
limits are set as daily or hourly limits to restrict abusive behavior."

Less than once a month, I use TP to send a message (usually an
attachment) to up to 100 lucky recipients. So far I haven't had this
problem. (But by sod's law I'll have it next time...)
